Commanderie de l'ordre Teutonique de Saint-André de Liège, Medieval commandry in Liège, Belgium
The stone building stands at the intersection of Rue Pierreuse and Rue du Palais, featuring architectural elements from the 17th century construction period.
The Teutonic Knights established this commandry in Liège during the 13th century, receiving protection from Prince-Bishop Henri de Gueldre in 1254.
The commandry administered the churches of Saint-Gangulphe and Saint-André, with its leader holding the specific title of grand-pasteur.
The building served as a police court annex and judicial services facility until 2013, following its classification as a heritage site in 1971.
The commandry formed part of the Vieux-Joncs grand commandery, one of twelve major bailiwicks in the Holy Roman Empire's Teutonic Order.
