Arena Arda

Arena Arda is a football stadium in Kardzhali with a regulation playing field and a running track encircling the pitch. The venue has seating areas for spectators, commentary facilities, and multiple entry and exit points throughout the grounds.

The stadium opened in 1963 and underwent major improvements in the 1980s. It was among the first venues in Bulgaria to introduce modern plastic seating for its spectators.

The stadium has been home to FC Arda 1924 for generations and takes its name from the nearby Arda River. It serves as a gathering place where locals come together to watch football and share their passion for the sport.

The stadium is easily accessible with plenty of viewing areas spread across the grounds. It helps to arrive early on match days to get oriented and find comfortable seating before crowds arrive.

A major renovation project in 2018 transformed the grounds into a modern sports facility meeting European competition standards. This upgrade turned a historic stadium into a contemporary venue ready for international events.
