Марагидик, Mountain summit in Central Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria
Maragidik rises to an elevation of 1,889 meters, offering views of the Vidima River valley and the town of Apriltsi below.
The mountain peak holds an alternative name, 'Rusalka', and stands near the historical Rusalii Pass connecting Northern and Southern Bulgaria.
Local mountaineers maintain several marked trails leading to the summit, preserving traditional Bulgarian mountain hiking routes through beech forests.
The most accessible route starts from Ostrets quarter in Apriltsi, following forest paths through Hristova Struzhna area for approximately four hours.
The northeastern slope contains a narrow path known exclusively to local residents, providing direct access through dense mountain vegetation.
