Taloyoak, Territorial hamlet in Nunavut, Canada

Located on the southwestern coast of Boothia Peninsula, Taloyoak marks the northernmost mainland community of Canada at an elevation of 28 meters.

The Hudson's Bay Company established a trading post in 1948, leading to the formation of the settlement formerly known as Spence Bay until 1992.

The Netsilik Inuit residents maintain traditional practices through stone and bone carvings, along with the creation of distinctive handmade packing dolls.

The community receives supplies through annual sealift operations and maintains air connections, while offering essential services to its 934 inhabitants.

The surrounding tundra landscape features dark rocky formations and provides seasonal viewing opportunities of the Northwest Passage maritime route.
