Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, Serbian Orthodox church in Cabbagetown, Toronto, Canada
The religious building features a single nave with a semicircular altar-apse at the east end and a round dome rising above the western side.
The construction of Saint Sava Church began in June 1953, with its cornerstone consecrated by Bishop Dionisije Milivojević in August of the same year.
The church maintains Serbian traditions through its choir 'Kyr Stefan Serbin' and the folklore group 'Stražilovo', which performs traditional Serbian dances.
Religious services take place every Sunday at 10 AM, while Saturday and holiday services begin at 9 AM, with additional prayer sessions on Tuesday evenings.
Princess Olga attended the 1955 consecration ceremony and presented a personally crafted icon of Saint Alexander Nevski to the congregation.
