Comoé National Park Research Station, Research station in Comoé National Park, Ivory Coast.

The research facility features a complete laboratory, dining spaces, and accommodations within West Africa's largest protected area of 11,500 square kilometers.

Professor Karl Eduard Linsenmair established the station in 1989, which temporarily closed during the First Ivorian Civil War before reopening with full capacity in 2014.

Scientists from more than 20 international institutions have conducted research at this station, producing over 200 published papers on African ecology and conservation.

The station maintains solar power installations, water supply systems, and internet connectivity, enabling researchers to work independently in remote conditions.

The facility sits at the intersection of different ecological zones, from dry Soudanian to humid Guinea savanna, supporting studies of Africa's most diverse savanna region.
