Moungo, Department capital in Littoral Region, Cameroon

Nkongsamba stands at an elevation of 888 meters above sea level, between the Manengouba mountains and Mount Nlonako in western Cameroon.

The city emerged as a significant transport hub in 1911 when German colonists completed a 172-kilometer railway line connecting it to Douala port.

Local markets showcase the diversity of Mbo, Kaa, and Baneka speaking communities through their agricultural products and traditional crafts.

The central area, known as Ville, connects to different neighborhoods marked by their distance in kilometers, making navigation straightforward for visitors.

The former art deco railway station, once vital for coffee transport, now serves as residential housing, marking the transformation of the city.
