Yue Wong Temple stands on Electric Road in eastern Causeway Bay, set on a raised platform above the street. A granite wall encloses it, and a gatehouse of Western-style concrete with an iron gate was added when the road was widened. It is Hong Kong's only temple dedicated mainly to Yue Fei.

Yue Wong Temple stood before the Second World War as a building on a raised platform beside the road. When the street was rebuilt, a wall and gate were added to prevent theft; the gate is a Western-style concrete structure. Until the 1980s many officers from the nearby Causeway Bay police station worshipped Yue Fei here, and on his birthday they came in numbers to burn incense.

The temple serves as a gathering place where visitors light incense and leave offerings to seek blessings from the deities. The space comes alive during major celebrations when crowds gather to participate in ceremonies and witness traditional religious practices.

The temple welcomes visitors during regular opening hours and is easily accessible by public transit. Respect the dress code when entering the sacred space and conduct yourself respectfully around other worshippers who are praying on site.

The temple's gate was put up in haste without a design, so it is a Western-style concrete arch with an iron grille, and the granite wall around the shrine resembles a garden villa's fence rather than a temple enclosure.
