Victoria Park, Urban park in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
Victoria Park is an expansive green area in Causeway Bay within Wan Chai District, offering lawns, sports facilities, and shaded pathways. The grounds stretch across multiple levels with tree clusters, public seating benches, and paved areas for community gatherings.
The site emerged in 1957 on land that once served as a typhoon shelter for boats before the harbor was reshaped. The design followed postwar urban renewal plans in Hong Kong.
The name honors Queen Victoria, and the layout reflects British garden traditions still visible today. Each morning, older residents gather here to practice Tai Chi or join outdoor exercise corners.
Reachable via Causeway Bay MTR Station Exit E or Tin Hau Station nearby, with several bus lines around the area. Entry is open around the clock, though early morning hours tend to be quieter.
Every Sunday, local artists meet at the Arts Corner to display and sell paintings, crafts, and handmade items. The area turns into a small open-air gallery that visitors often overlook.
