Hysan Place

Hysan Place is a 36-floor building with offices and retail spaces in Causeway Bay, connected by escalators and elevators throughout its structure. More than 40 stores and multiple restaurants spread across 17 floors of commercial space, creating a mixed-use environment.

The building was constructed between 2009 and 2012 by Hysan Development Company and replaced an earlier structure. Its completion marked a new phase in how the district evolved.

The place draws young shoppers and office workers who move through the stores and restaurants throughout the day. The open areas serve as meeting points where people pause between work and shopping, shaping how the district functions.

The building sits directly above Causeway Bay MTR station, making it easy to reach by public transport. The interior with its many escalators allows comfortable movement between retail and office areas.

The building earned LEED Platinum certification through water-saving features and a system that treats all storm water on site. These environmental measures work quietly behind the scenes in this crowded urban district.
