Christ The King Chapel, Catholic chapel in Wan Chai District, Hong Kong.
Christ The King Chapel is a church building in Wan Chai District featuring Roman architectural design with Corinthian columns and a prominent dome. The structure includes numerous doors throughout and a grand Blackett pipe organ positioned on the balcony.
The chapel was built in 1928 and initially served as a private sanctuary for the Sisters of St Paul de Chartres. It opened to public worship in 1961.
The chapel displays three sets of stained glass windows showing scenes of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and other religious moments that color the light inside. These works shape how the space feels and help visitors connect with religious stories.
The chapel can be accessed through St Paul's Hospital on Tunglowan Road or through St Paul's Convent School on Leighton Road. Visiting during Sunday morning services offers the best opportunity to experience the space.
The entrance displays a Latin inscription 'REGEM REGUM VENITE ADOREMUS' beneath a triangular clock design. Above this sits a statue of Christ the King.
