The Leighton Hill

Leighton Hill is a private residential estate in Wan Chai consisting of eight towers that contain 543 apartments arranged across multiple floors. The buildings overlook Happy Valley Racecourse and Caroline Hill with their different elevation vantage points.

This development replaced former government housing quarters and opened to residents in 2002, transforming the site from official housing into a private residential complex. The location had previously served as accommodation for civil servants.

The estate has a public community hall managed by local authorities where residents gather for neighborhood events and activities. It serves as a social meeting point that brings people from the different towers together.

The estate offers recreational facilities including an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis court, and multipurpose rooms available to residents. These amenities are maintained year-round and designed to serve the residential community within the towers.

The two central towers feature noticeably higher ceilings than the surrounding buildings, creating a more spacious interior feeling. This difference in ceiling height is something visitors can immediately notice when moving between the towers.
