Tung Tak Pawn Shop, Grade III historic pawnbroker in Wan Chai District, Hong Kong.
The Tung Tak Pawn Shop occupied a corner building at the intersection of Hennessy Road and Marsh Road with traditional verandah architecture.
The building, constructed in the 1930s following the Praya East Reclamation Scheme, was designed by the architecture firm Raven and Basto.
The pawn shop represented a traditional financial institution in Hong Kong, providing monetary services to local residents for over eight decades.
The structure received approval for demolition in 2013 to make way for a new 23-story commercial tower development project.
In August 2015, over 2,000 residents signed a petition within one week to protect the building from demolition.
