Sun Hung Kai Centre is a 53-story office tower standing 215 meters tall in Wan Chai. The building commands views of Victoria Harbour and the surrounding Hong Kong skyline from its upper levels.
Construction began in 1980, and upon completion in 1982, the tower became one of the first major commercial structures in Wan Chai North. Two floors were added in 1991 to expand the building's capacity.
The building houses several diplomatic missions, including the consulates of Brazil, Russia, and Myanmar, making it a center of international relations.
The tower sits at 30 Harbour Road with direct access to public transportation connections. Its position near the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre means the area is easily navigable on foot.
The structure received two additional floors in 1991, expanding from its original 51 floors to accommodate growing business demands.
