尚巒, Residential complex in Tai Hang, Hong Kong.
Shanglan is a 37-story residential complex on Warren Street containing 164 apartments of varying sizes for different household needs. The building includes recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, and barbecue area plus parking spaces for residents.
The site previously held six buildings dating from the 1960s through the 1980s before Soundwill Group acquired the land in 2008. The current complex was built as a new development replacing those earlier structures.
The building follows Hong Kong's practice of skipping certain floor numbers based on cultural beliefs about unlucky digits. This convention shapes how residents and visitors perceive the building's layout and numbering system.
The complex sits in a well-connected area with access to public transportation and nearby shopping options. Note that this is a private residential building, so visitor access may be limited to public areas or may require permission.
Seventy units were allocated as compensation to former property owners who were displaced by the development. The remaining apartments offer views toward Victoria Harbour and the surrounding landscape for those on higher floors.
