Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Park

The park extends over 570,000 square meters, incorporating an artificial lake, zigzag bridge, pavilion, and sports facilities across its expansive grounds.

Established in 1987 after transforming a landfill, the park received a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen in 1990 to commemorate the Chinese revolutionary leader.

The park merges Eastern and Western architectural elements, featuring both a feng shui forest and a Victorian greenhouse within its boundaries.

The grounds remain open from 6:00 to 23:00 daily, with the Wong Ieng Kuan Library operating from 8:00 to 20:00 except on Mondays.

The Forever Handshake steel statue stands in the park as a representation of the connection between China and Portugal.
