Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Park, Urban park in Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Macau, China.

Dr. Sun Yat-sen Municipal Park is a sprawling green space in Nossa Senhora de Fátima featuring an artificial lake, winding bridges, pavilions, and sports facilities spread across the grounds. A library and various gardens are integrated throughout, offering visitors different zones to explore.

The park opened in 1987 on the site of a landfill that had operated until 1983, and was first named Canal dos Patos Park. On 12 November 1990, to mark the 124th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth, a bronze statue 2.8 metres tall and weighing over a tonne was erected at the entrance, and the park was renamed in his honour. In 1996 a large steel sculpture, Forever Handshake by Liu Guibing, was added to commemorate Sino-Portuguese friendship.

The park blends Eastern and Western design in its layout and structures. Visitors can wander through a feng shui forest and a Victorian greenhouse, both reflecting the cultural meeting of two worlds.

The grounds are open daily from early morning until late evening, with plenty of pathways for walking and different activity areas throughout. The Wong Ieng Kuan Library located on the property has limited hours, so it is worth checking before planning a visit to use it.

The large steel sculpture "Forever Handshake" was created by Liu Guibing and added to the park in 1996. Its design, two hands clasped, marks the friendship between China and Portugal and the understanding between Macau's residents; the work was installed in the year the library opened.
