Bank of China Centre

The structure was originally developed by Sino Land in 2000 and acquired by Bank of China in 2001 to serve as a back-office hub. This acquisition marked the expansion of Chinese financial operations within Hong Kong.

The building carries the name of Bank of China and displays signage in both Chinese and English, reflecting the presence of major financial institutions from mainland China in Hong Kong. You see office workers moving through its spaces daily, treating it as a central point for banking and business operations.

The building sits directly beside Olympic Station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Inside, you will find self-service machines and banking services that are straightforward to access.

This was one of the first major properties directly acquired by a Chinese financial institution to establish back-office operations in Hong Kong. It shows how mainland finance companies began taking control of key office spaces in the city.
