Heep Yunn School, Grade III historic girls' secondary school in Kowloon City District, Hong Kong
Heep Yunn School is a girls' secondary school in Kowloon City District featuring a main building and St. Clare Chapel, both recognized as Grade III historic structures. The campus on Farm Road spreads across a large area with several buildings, sports facilities, and green spaces.
The school formed in 1936 when the Church Missionary Society combined Fairlea School, founded in 1886, with Victoria Home and Orphanage from 1887. In 2012 it joined the Direct Subsidy Scheme, allowing greater independence in school management.
The name derives from the Cantonese word for "harmonious connection", reflecting the Christian foundation of the institution. Students use both English and Cantonese throughout the school day, switching between languages depending on subject and activity.
The buildings sit on a hillside, so visitors need to navigate several staircases to reach different levels. The historic structures are visible from the outside, but access to the campus is usually restricted outside school events.
St. Clare Chapel houses a small organ from the early years of the school, still played during special services. The building originally served as an orphanage before being integrated into the school structure, and it retains some architectural details from that period.
