Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Convention and shopping center in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.
The Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre is a multi-storey complex housing exhibition halls, retail shops, and event spaces spread across different levels. Inside you'll find areas designed for trade shows, business meetings, and everyday shopping all arranged in the same building.
The complex opened in 2001 on land where an airport once stood and served as a major venue for trade and exhibitions for more than twenty years. In 2024 a new owner took over the site with plans to transform it into office spaces.
Star Hall within the complex seats 3,600 people and hosts numerous concerts, while The Metroplex cinema presents films across nine screens to 1,100 viewers.
The site connects easily to nearby public transport with frequent service throughout the day. Planning your visit during quieter hours in early morning or late afternoon works best, especially if trade events are scheduled.
The facility contains Hong Kong Bowling City, an integrated auto mall, and office spaces ranging from 56 to 9,300 square meters per floor.
