Second Wanzhou Yangtze River Bridge

The Second Wanzhou Yangtze River Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans 1154 meters across the Yangtze River. The structure carries two traffic lanes and connects different areas on either side of the river in Wanzhou.

This bridge was built between 2001 and 2004 and represented an important step forward in transport connections across the Yangtze for the Chongqing region. The project significantly improved how people and goods could move across the river.

The bridge structure integrates with the surrounding mountains and waterways, reflecting the engineering capabilities of modern Chinese infrastructure development.
