The Grandiose, Residential skyscraper complex in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The Grandiose is a large residential complex in Sai Kung with three towers, each containing 55 floors and reaching approximately 168 meters tall. The modern buildings use advanced construction techniques and quality materials throughout their structure.
The project was developed by New World Development Company and MTR Corporation and completed in 2006. Construction began in 2004 and took about two years before opening.
The complex shows Hong Kong's approach to limited space through vertical construction. The towers shape the neighborhood and allow thousands of residents to live closely together in the same area.
The location in Sai Kung offers good connection to nearby shopping centers and public transportation. Keep in mind this is a residential area where most spaces are private to residents.
Architects Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man worked with engineering firm Arup to design the three identical towers. This collaboration between renowned designers and engineers shaped the final character of the complex.
