Zhicheng Yangtze River Bridge, Steel truss road-rail bridge in Gujiadian Town, China.

The Zhicheng Yangtze River Bridge extends 1742.3 meters across the Yangtze River, incorporating two railway tracks and vehicle lanes within its structure.

Construction of the bridge started in November 1965, with the original rail-only design modified in 1970 to include roadways before opening in December 1971.

The bridge stands as the fourth major crossing constructed on the Yangtze River, marking a period of infrastructure expansion in central China.

The structure underwent extensive repairs from 2012 to 2014, requiring a 15-month closure to maintain its dual transportation functions.

The bridge features a main span of 160 meters and carries the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway while simultaneously serving road traffic needs.
