Jingzhou Museum, Archaeological museum in Jingzhou, China
The Jingzhou Museum spans 50,000 square meters with multiple exhibition halls showcasing artifacts from bronze vessels to ancient pottery and jade ornaments.
The museum contains archaeological findings from the Western Han Dynasty period, including items excavated from regional Chu tombs dating back to 167 BC.
The exhibition halls present a collection of 130,000 relics that illustrate the development of civilization in the Jianghan Plain through different periods.
Visitors can access the museum from Tuesday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM using public bus routes 15, 21, 25, or 32.
The museum houses a perfectly preserved 2000-year-old human body discovered in a sealed tomb, displayed in a special viewing chamber beneath glass.
