Ho Tung Lau, Colonial mansion in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.
The two-story mansion featured a veranda, two Cant Bays on both sides of the main entrance, and a roof that functioned as a balcony.
Built in 1923 by Ho Sai Wing, Robert Hotung's adopted son, the mansion was named Windermere after the lake in the United Kingdom.
The building served as Wah Kiu College from 1938 to 1941, providing education facilities after the school relocated from Foshan due to war instability.
The British Royal Air Force utilized the mansion as an army camp and accommodation center following the establishment of Sha Tin Airfield in 1949.
Despite the mansion being named after Robert Hotung, he never visited the property, though his wife Margaret Mak made three visits during its existence.
