Severn 8, Private residential complex at The Peak, Hong Kong
Severn 8 is a private residential complex on the Peak in Hong Kong, made up of 22 houses and 22 apartment units. The complex has a clubhouse, a swimming pool, and dining facilities for residents.
The complex was developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties and received its occupation permit in August 2005. It was one of the more recent residential projects to be completed on the Peak at that time.
The property attracts both local Hong Kong residents and international residents drawn to the exclusive lifestyle of the Peak district.
The Peak location makes it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot, as several paths run through the neighborhood. Primary and secondary schools are available in the nearby districts.
The Peak is one of the few areas in Hong Kong where building density is kept very low, so homes here have far more open space around them than almost anywhere else in the city. This stands in sharp contrast to the tightly packed neighborhoods visible from below.
