Bowen Road Park

Bowen Road Park is a recreational park in Wan Chai District situated along an elevated pathway with views across Victoria Harbor. The space features mature trees lining the trails and includes several sections where you can stop and observe the harbor and surrounding hills.

The park developed around an aqueduct built to carry water from Tai Tam Reservoir toward Central Hong Kong. This water infrastructure shaped the path and land where the park now exists as a public space for the community.

The park is named after the road that winds through it, and locals use the open spaces for tai chi and group exercise in the mornings. You will see people gathering in small groups along the paths, a common sight in Hong Kong neighborhoods where outdoor areas become extensions of daily routines.

The terrain is flat with paved paths that work well for jogging and morning exercise routines. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially on warmer days when the sun can be intense along the exposed sections.

A granite formation called Lover's Stone sits within the park grounds and draws couples who follow local betrothal customs. This stone has become an important spot for engagement ceremonies and photos among local residents.
