铜钹山, Forest park in Shangrao, China

Mount Tongbo rises to 1534.6 meters and marks the intersection of Guangfeng County with Pucheng County and Wuyishan City in southeastern China.

From 884 CE until 1869, the mountain area remained under strict access control, leading to its designation as the Forbidden Mountain.

The mountain holds multiple ancient city gates, with only the South Gate remaining as a testament to the historical uprisings and cultural heritage.

The forest park features numerous hiking trails, rest areas, and observation platforms, with convenient access by car or public transportation.

The area contains 36,000 acres of primary forest and houses rare species including Chinese giant salamanders and Yangtze giant softshell turtles.
