Radeberg

Radeberg is an urban municipality in Bautzen District in eastern Saxony, stretching along the Roeder river valley surrounded by rolling hills. The town center features typical Saxon architecture with residential buildings and public structures, while industrial buildings from the 1800s stand notably in the northern area.

The settlement gained town privileges in 1412, transforming from an agricultural area into an established market center with fortifications and administration. The brewery's founding in the second half of the 1800s marked a turning point, making it an industrial hub in the region.
