OWL Arena, now named Heristo-Arena, is a multi-purpose arena in Halle (Westfalen) with a two-part retractable roof that closes in 88 seconds. Capacity depends on the floor: about 11,500 on the concrete slab and roughly 10,500 with the raised floor installed. Two heating systems, infrared radiators and an oil/gas heating, allow year-round use.
The stadium opened in 1993 and was originally called Gerry Weber Stadion. In 2020, a group of 13 sponsors took over the facility and renamed it.
The annual June tennis tournament has been held here since 1993, known as the Gerry Weber Open until 2019, then Noventi Open, and since 2022 as the Terra Wortmann Open. The arena also hosted Davis Cup ties in 1993, 1994, 2006 and 2026, and German handball internationals including matches of the 2007 World Championship.
