Theaterhaus Stuttgart is a performance venue with multiple spaces that host theater, dance, comedy, and music productions throughout the year. Each room can accommodate different types of shows and audience sizes.

The non-profit Theaterhaus Stuttgart e. V. was founded in 1984 by Werner and Gudrun Schretzmeier and Peter Grohmann in a disused glass factory in Wangen, and performances began on 29 March 1985. In 2003 the venue moved to the listed Rheinstahlhallen near the Pragsattel, a 12,500 m² site that had served Thyssen as a sheet and structural steel delivery warehouse. Eric Gauthier founded Gauthier Dance in 2007; its Six Pack premiered at the Theaterhaus in 2008.

The house's name comes from its founding in 1984 in a disused glass factory in Wangen, where the association began performing on 29 March 1985. Its two resident ensembles are Gauthier Dance, founded by Eric Gauthier in 2007 and premiered with Six Pack in 2008, and the Internationales Theaterhaus Schauspielensemble. Around 150 of the roughly 1,000 annual dates are free of charge.

The venue sits in Feuerbach near the Pragsattel, north of central Stuttgart, in the converted Rheinstahlhallen. Four halls hold close to 2,000 seats, with a two-storey foyer, restaurant, rehearsal rooms and workshops on site. Around 150 of the roughly 1,000 annual dates are free of charge. The glass entrance at street level is reached past a concrete pillar carrying a small red box.

The venue hosts regular dance festivals such as the COLOURS festival that attract international choreographers. These events showcase experimental and contemporary dance forms that are rarely seen elsewhere in the region.
