Gut Eckendorf

Gut Eckendorf is a manor estate in Leopoldshöhe featuring a main house and designed grounds with a pond and mature trees. The property displays architectural elements from different periods and maintains a structured layout that blends formal and informal garden designs.

The property originated in 1036, making it one of the oldest estates in the region with roots stretching back over nine centuries. In 1776, major renovations introduced a baroque garden design that was later transformed into an English landscape park style.

The place bears the name of the von Dallwitz family, who have maintained the estate for generations and shaped its character. Visitors can experience this connection to regional heritage during occasional public gatherings held on the grounds.
