Wellersberg, Mountain summit in Siegen, Germany
The Wellersberg reaches an elevation of 346 meters and stands northwest of Siegen's center within the Rhineland Slate Mountains range.
The mountain contained several mining operations during the 19th century, including the Friedrichshoffnung and Eisenberg mines that supported regional industrial development.
The Hermelsbach Cemetery occupies the western slope while the DRK Children's Hospital resides on the eastern side of the mountain.
Visitors can access the mountain via the L562 road, known as Freudenberger Straße, which connects the municipalities of Freudenberg and Siegen.
The mountain's undeveloped summit provides clear views across the landscape, with multiple walking paths traversing through forests and pastures.
