Huthpark

Huthpark is a green space with meadows, tree clusters, and pathways spread across sloping ground. From several spots in the park, you can see views toward Lohrberg and the Main Valley, while playgrounds, tennis courts, and sports facilities are located throughout.

The park was created between 1910 and 1912 under garden director Carl Heicke and was later expanded by Max Bromme. Its development during this period shaped its current form as a public recreational space.

The park serves as a gathering place where neighbors and families spend time together across its different zones. Open spaces with playgrounds, sports areas, and meadows encourage people to walk, play, and enjoy the outdoors with those around them.

The Bergstation café is located in a restored 1929 pavilion and offers drinks and snacks. The park connects to the Quellenwanderweg trail, which leads toward Lohrberg, and fitness stations with exercise equipment are placed throughout the space.

The park displays design features from early 20th-century garden planning, visible in how paths and green areas are carefully arranged as you walk through. These historical design elements remain noticeable in the park's everyday layout, even though how people use it has changed over time.
