Feuerpalven

Feuerpalven is a rocky peak in the Berchtesgaden Alps with steep slopes on multiple sides. From the summit, visitors see the vertical face of Watzmann and can look down onto Königssee and the small chapel on its far shore.

The summit edge drops almost straight down roughly 1100 meters to Königssee, one of Germany's deepest lakes. This extreme vertical exposure creates a powerful sense of height that few other spots in the Bavarian Alps provide.
