Schießhaus, Rococo building in Heilbronn, Germany
The Schießhaus is a two-story building with an ornate main hall on the upper floor, whose ceiling features detailed stucco decorations depicting the four seasons. The ornamental style extends throughout the interior spaces and creates an elegant setting for events.
The building was constructed between 1769 and 1771 by architect Johann Christoph Keller and originally served as a shooting club house and venue for horse market events. It later developed into an important event venue for the city.
The grand hall on the upper floor is used today for concerts, ceremonies, and formal gatherings. These rooms remain a central meeting place for the city and play an important role in local celebrations.
The building is located on Frankfurter Straße 65 and can be reserved for private and public events throughout the year. Visitors should contact Heilbronn Marketing GmbH in advance to check availability and conditions.
The building survived World War II without damage and preserves its original 18th-century Rococo architecture intact. This preservation makes it a rare example of undamaged Baroque decorations in the region.
