Steintor, Medieval city gate in Goch, Germany.
The Steintor features a rectangular central section with two round towers, displaying a steep hipped roof and a pointed-arch gateway entrance.
Mentioned first in 1371, this double tower gate stands as the last remaining structure from the four original city gates of medieval Goch.
The building contains a carnival museum on its first floor, while the second floor hosts events organized by the local cultural association.
The structure includes three stone niches with 19th-century carvings depicting Saint George and various coats of arms above the entrance.
During its long history, the building served multiple functions including a prison in the 19th century and a Hitler Youth facility from 1936.
