Revierpark Nienhausen

Revierpark Nienhausen is a large recreation park in Gelsenkirchen that combines sports facilities, walking trails through forest areas, and a lake with beach access. The complex includes nine saunas, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and open spaces designed for different types of physical activity and nature enjoyment.

The name Nienhausen comes from a medieval estate that once occupied this land. Over time, the property transformed into a recreation area to serve the surrounding industrial communities in the Ruhr Valley.
