Königsberg

The Königsberg peak rises to 1033.5 meters, standing as the third highest elevation in the Harz mountains of northern Germany.

During past centuries, two primary paths led to the summit: the Old Königsberg Way starting near Eckerloch and the Old Goethe Way from Goetheweg station.

The mountain features multiple granite formations, including Stangenklippe, Schluftkopf, and Kanzelklippen, which represent the geological heritage of the region.

The peak connects to a long ridge extending from southeast to northwest, positioned 1.5 kilometers south of the Brocken summit.

At Rabenklippe, visitors can observe a fireplace carved directly into the granite, with its construction date remaining unknown.
