The Tahir Mosque features two minarets and a central dome, reaching 15 meters in height with a prayer room of 338 square meters.
The mosque opened on May 31, 2004, as the seventh mosque constructed under the 100 Mosques Plan initiated between 2002 and 2004.
The mosque serves as a gathering place for the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, which previously held prayers in a smaller room accommodating 220 members.
Located in the Koblenz-Lützel district, the mosque accommodates 600 worshippers on its 2,182 square meter plot of land.
The mosque bears the name of Mirza Tahir Ahmad and represents the first formal Islamic religious structure in the city of Koblenz.
