Eissporthalle Charlottenburg, Indoor ice rink in Westend, Berlin, Germany

The Eissporthalle Charlottenburg, nicknamed P09 after the car park it replaced, stands on the Olympiagelände in Berlin's Westend, not in Charlottenburg itself. It holds two 30-by-60-metre ice surfaces: one enclosed hall with a tribune of 1,000 places (700 seated, 300 standing) and one covered outdoor rink. The ice is marked for both ice hockey and curling.

Built from 2009 on the site of the former P09 car park, the hall replaced the Deutschlandhalle, which closed in 2009, and opened on 3 March 2012. It stands on the Olympiagelände in Westend, not in Charlottenburg itself. From 26 November to 1 December 2021 it hosted a para ice hockey qualification tournament for the 2022 Winter Paralympics, where Italy and Slovakia took the two places and Germany finished third.

The nickname P09 comes from the parking lot (Parkplatz 09) on which the hall was built. The ice is marked for both ice hockey and curling, and the Berliner Schlittschuhclub, SC Charlottenburg and EHC Berlin Blues train and play here. In November 2021 the hall hosted the para ice hockey qualifier for the 2022 Winter Paralympics, with six teams competing for two places; Italy and Slovakia qualified and Germany finished third.

The venue sits on the Olympiagelände in Westend, not in Charlottenburg itself, so allow for the trip from central Berlin. The enclosed hall's tribune holds 1000 spectators, 700 seated and 300 standing. Both ice surfaces, about 30 by 60 metres, carry markings for ice hockey and curling, and clubs such as Berliner Schlittschuhclub, SC Charlottenburg and EHC Berlin Blues train here, so check public skating times before travelling.

The hall's nickname P09 comes from the parking lot it replaced; it opened on 3 March 2012 as a replacement for the Deutschlandhalle, which closed in 2009. In 2023 it hosted the roller skating competitions of the Special Olympics World Summer Games.
