OTE Tower, Television tower in central Thessaloniki, Greece.
The OTE Tower is a 76-meter-tall structure within the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, featuring a rotating restaurant on the third floor. From this vantage point, visitors can see the city, waterfront, and surrounding mountains as they dine.
The structure was built in 1966 under architect Alexandros Anastasiadis as part of Greece's early television broadcasting network. It became instrumental in transmitting radio and television signals across the Thessaloniki region.
The tower draws crowds during the International Fair held each year, when exhibition spaces fill with visitors exploring booths and cultural displays from different countries.
The location is central and easily accessible from the Exhibition Center. Visitors should go during early afternoon hours for clearer views and a quieter dining experience with fewer crowds.
The platform rotates slowly as visitors eat, offering continuously changing views without leaving their table. This gentle rotation allows diners to see all directions of the city and landscape throughout their meal.
