Mesochora, village in Greece
Mesochora is a mountain village in Pyli Municipality situated in the Athamanika range at roughly 820 meters elevation. It sits near the upper course of the Acheloos River in southwestern Trikala.
The village was originally known as Vitsista before being renamed Mesochora in 1928. It became part of the current administrative structure through administrative changes in 1997.
The village can be reached via Greek National Road 30, which connects Trikala and Arta across the Pindus mountains. This route provides the main access through a key north-south corridor in the region.
