Church of Panagia Kera

The Church of Panagia Kera features three aisles with extensive frescoes displaying religious scenes across its walls, dome, and central nave.

Built during the early 13th century, this Orthodox church underwent significant expansions in the 14th century with additions of side aisles and western entrance.

The central aisle contains frescoes depicting the life of Christ, while the southern aisle honors Saint Anne and the northern section presents Saint Anthony.

Located one kilometer south of Kritsa village, the church provides parking facilities opposite Paradise restaurant for convenient access to visitors.

An icon of the Virgin Mary, once housed in this church and believed to possess supernatural powers, was stolen in 1498 and transported to Rome.
