Villa Mordoch, Protected mansion in Thessaloniki, Greece
The two-story Villa Mordoch features a corner tower with a dome, tile-covered exterior walls, an elevated basement, and an attic section.
Architect Xenophon Paionidis constructed this building in 1905 for the Jewish Mordoch family, who resided there from 1930 to 1940.
The interior spaces contain art-nouveau decorations with painted elements that reflect the architectural preferences of early 20th century Thessaloniki.
The building currently functions as administrative offices for the 5th Municipal District of Thessaloniki, with limited public access.
The mansion stands along Queen Olga's Avenue among other grand residences that showcase similar eclectic architectural elements from that period.
