The Thessaloniki Concert Hall contains two main buildings, with M1 featuring a 1,400-seat auditorium and M2 displaying contemporary architectural elements.
The Greek state donated the land for this performance center, which opened its doors on January 2, 2000, with construction costs reaching 41 million euros.
The venue presents numerous musical performances throughout the year, from classical symphonies to opera productions, featuring both international and Greek artists.
Located on Maria Callas Street, the concert hall rises 50 meters high and includes modern audio-visual equipment for professional sound reproduction.
Japanese architect Arata Isozaki designed the M2 building, incorporating multiple smaller performance spaces within the contemporary structure.
