Mont-Dore

Mont-Dore stands at an elevation of 1,050 meters in the Auvergne region, surrounded by volcanic peaks including the Puy de Sancy.

The Romans established the first thermal baths in Mont-Dore, with archaeological remains revealing substantial public bathing facilities from that period.

The Sancy Snow Jazz Festival takes place every February in Mont-Dore, presenting concerts across multiple venues throughout the mountain resort.
