Neuhof is a large residential district in southeastern Strasbourg with many different areas. Here you find housing alongside factories and shops, plus natural green spaces with forests near the Rhine river.
The name came from the 15th century when it meant 'new farm' and referred to a farming area. Later it developed into a modern residential zone connected to the city by transportation.
