Gare d'Orsay, Railway station in Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, France.
The former railway station, designed by Victor Laloux, features extensive glass roofing, cast iron structures, and stone facades measuring 75 meters in width.
Following its inauguration in 1900, the station served southeastern Paris until 1939, when technological advancements in rail transport led to its closure.
The building transformed into Musée d'Orsay in 1986, housing French art collections from 1848 to 1914, including Impressionist and post-Impressionist works.
Located near the Seine River, the museum maintains regular visiting hours from Tuesday through Sunday, with extended evening hours on Thursdays.
The central hall preserves original station features, including the monumental clock and train platform spaces that now display sculptures and paintings.
