Tretzevents

Tretzevents is a mountain summit in the Canigo Massif of the Pyrenees near Corsavy and Le Tech. The peak reaches approximately 2,731 meters and is surrounded by several smaller summits in the area.

The mountain was added to the FEEC100 list of significant peaks, establishing it as a recognized destination for mountaineers in the Pyrenees. This recognition helped develop it into a popular hiking destination.

The name Tretzevents means Thirteen Winds, referring to the different wind patterns that converge at this location in the French Pyrenees. Visitors feel these wind currents distinctly when they reach the summit.

Several hiking trails lead to the summit from Corsavy and Le Tech, with the main route requiring mountaineering equipment and careful weather monitoring. Conditions vary significantly by season, so proper preparation is essential.

A secondary summit nearby reaches approximately 2,727 meters and creates a distinctive double-peak formation with the main summit. This double-peak structure makes the complex a striking feature in the mountain range.
