Maison du chemin de Paradis

Maison du chemin de Paradis is a three-story structure built with stones salvaged from a former church and surrounded by cypress trees positioned above an old mill. The building displays typical bastide characteristics with a compact form and locally sourced materials.

The building was constructed in the 16th century and came into the ownership of Marie-Pélagie Garnier in 1881. It received official recognition as a historic monument in 1975.

The residence once housed a substantial private library featuring works by prominent French authors. This collection reflects the intellectual interests of those who lived here.
